"Vivi Nardò": An evening of emotions and recognition at the Castle



A magical atmosphere enveloped Nardò Castle during an exciting evening organized by the Pro Loco as part of the "Vivi Nardò" initiative. The event featured the presentation of the new guidebook, written in four languages ​​by Professor Mario Mennonna.

The event, expertly hosted by Pro Loco President Professor Carlo Longo, drew a large and attentive audience, who enjoyed a rich and engaging program.

Among the evening's highlights was the presentation of a plaque and honorary Pro Loco membership card to Dr. Luciano Barbetta, a prominent figure not only in industry but also in culture, society, and sport. He dedicated his life to promoting the Nardò area, supporting these sectors.

Dr. Barbetta, moved by the recognition, addressed words of thanks to the Pro Loco and to the entire community, underlining the importance of protecting and promoting the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Nardò.

The evening was also enlivened by the magical musical notes of maestro Tommaso and Alex Zuccaro with some lyrics lovingly dedicated to our country also by Mimino Spano such as: “Nardò Mia” and “Sirinata Sirinata”.

There were also speeches from Councillors Giulia Puglia for Culture and Giuseppe Alemanno for Tourism, who conveyed greetings from the municipal administration and expressed their support for the "Vivi Nardò" initiative, underscoring the administration's commitment to promoting tourism and local culture.

The evening ended with applause from the audience, who had the opportunity to appreciate one of the most evocative events of the Neretina summer.
